The National Archeological Museum of Florence is situated in the Palazzo della Crocetta, which was built in in the early 17th century for Princess Maria Maddalena de Medici. Highlights include the Etruscan rooms featuring artifacts dating back to the 4th century BC, and Roman Collections which include the famous bronze statue, ’Idolino of Pesaro’.
