Piazza Pitti, 1
Museums & Galleries - Art / Music / Theater.
The Gallery is located in the palace of the family which ruled Florence, and opened to the public in 1828. The building is a splendid example of Florentine Baroque and an ideal framework for its many notable works of art. Paintings by Titian, Raphael, Rubens, Van Dyck, Velazquez are represented here, as well as older works by Bronzino, Bartolomeo and Filippi Lippi.
