Arch Of Titus
V. Sacra - Foro Romano
One of two arches still standing in the Roman Forum, the Arch of Titus was constructed in order to commemorate the capture of Jerusalem. Emperor Titus died after two years of ruling the Roman Empire and had the arch dedicated to him by his brother, Domitian. The inside of the arch has relief work depicting a heroic Titus and a triumphal procession.
