The House of Savoy, once the ruling power in Italy, had a rich collection of art and artifacts from their many royal residences around the region. The collection is now displayed in the Savoyed Gallery, showcasing works by the Piemontese school and Flemish and Dutch artists ranging from the 15th to the 18th century. Artists displayed include Tiepolo, Van der Weyden, Velazquez and Van Dyck.
